AMERICA ONLINE's STYLE CHANNEL AND WORLD'S LEADING FASHION AND SUPERMODEL
INTERNET WEB SITE SIGN JOINT VENTURE

Patxi Entertainment Network, Inc. (PEN), producers of leading celebrity based Internet programming, announced today that it has signed a joint venture with America Online (AOL). The deal will bring PEN's award winning SUPERMODEL.COM , the world's leading provider of fashion and Supermodel news on the Internet, to AOL's Style Channel.

The deal marks the first of its kind for AOL's Style Channel by integrating content from a privately run web site into AOL's online programming. The companies will also collectively begin to provide customized packages for advertisers through a network of unique rotation advertising packages throughout SUPERMODEL.COM and AOL. SUPERMODEL.COM's advertisers, which have seen the value of its combined mark of over eight million requests monthly, have included Nikon, AT&T, IBM, People Magazine, Sunny Delight, Moet Champagne, Microsoft, Yahoo, Vidal Sassoon, Clearasil and Cover Girl.

Patxi Pastor, President and CEO of PEN, said, "We've been discussing a venture with AOL for almost a year now and have really created a perfect fit for our companies to leverage our significant leads in both the Internet and online markets. The combined expertise from both of our organization's production and programming staffs will create an incredible experience for our audience."

The Style Channel's General Manger, Mark Sullivan, said "We approached PEN because of SUPERMODEL.COM's quality content and ground breaking production. Their comprehensive news and photographic coverage of the world's leading models and the fashion industry will add a whole new dimension and feel to the Style Channel. This is the kind of content our viewers have been asking for. The Style Channel was launched as the result of a partnership with ABC/Capital, owners of Fairchild Publications, the publishers of Women's Wear Daily.

Located in Connecticut, PEN is one of the world leaders in celebrity-based Internet programming, and provides custom publishing services, content, special event programming and merchandise fulfillment for its holdings which include SUPEMODEL.COM, SUPERSTARS.COM, DEADTIES.COM, STARFILE.COM and now a new area of The Style Channel.

PEN recently purchased Star File, one of the world's largest and most comprehensive celebrity and model photo archives, consisting of over 1,000,000 contemporary and classic images dating back to the 1940's which will be used for the new site. The company, which also represents over 40 of the world's leading celebrity photographers, provides images to hundreds of leading publications, merchandise, advertisements and television programs each day. Pastor said, "We have photographers all over the world, that can cover every major model and fashion event for The Style Channel. If need be, we can provide comprehensive coverage of different events even if they are being held on several different continents on the same day."

As a result of a recent collaboration with Nikon and Kodak, PEN has begun pioneering the use of a variety of new electronic imaging technologies to instantly upload live digital photographs taken by its photographers. Pastor said, "We're continually amazed at the advantages these new technologies give to our editorial staff and how they will effect the quality of the coverage we will be able to bring to The Style Channel experience. We had six photographers covering the recent shows in New York with these digital cameras, and we are now planning to publish images of the world's top models from events like these on the Style Channel within seconds after they are taken."
